As MT4 doesn’t have a deposit or withdrawal function, you'll need to make a deposit by logging in to your IG account and following the steps mentioned below.
Retail Clients and corporate accounts can fund using debit card or bank transfer, and Professional Clients can fund using debit card, credit card or bank transfer. Scroll to the bottom of this page to learn how to do this.
Make sure that any card or bank account is in your name when you make a deposit – we can’t accept any third-party funding or business cards.
We’ll credit successful card payments to your MT4 account right away. Bank transfers can take up to three working days, but you can upload your proof of payment while you wait.
All payments will have to go through security checks and should come from a source held in your name. We usually return your funds the same method and account used to make your deposit.
How to deposit via desktop
Log in to My IG, select your MT4 account in the ‘live accounts’ tab and click ‘deposit funds’ to choose your preferred payment method.
How to deposit via mobile app
Select ‘account’ on the bottom-right corner of the screen, switch to your MT4 account and click on the ‘add funds’ button to choose your preferred payment method.
