Why has my position closed unexpectedly?

If your position has been closed unexpectedly, please double-check to see if your stops or limits have been hit by referencing against an IG chart.

We don’t display the buy (ask) and sell (bid) prices simultaneously, so you may need to edit your chart to display the correct reference price. Bring up the chart, right click, and make sure the chart is quoting the correct bid or ask to correctly correspond with your trade.
