Does IG offer joint accounts?

IG offers joint accounts for spread betting, CFDs and share dealing accounts only. Joint accounts aren’t available for MT4 or Smart Portfolios.

To set one up, you and the person you’d like to share your joint account with will need to open an individual account each, if you don’t have one already. This is so that we can make the various checks that are required by our regulator.

Once your personal accounts are open, you’ll need to fill in either a spread betting joint account application form or a CFD and share dealing joint account form.

All parties will need to sign the form, and then you’ll need to return it to us as per the instructions at the bottom of the form.
