Why can't I add a card to my account?

If you experience this issue, you might be using a type of card that we can’t accept, such as:

  • A card in someone else’s name
  • A business or corporate card
  • An American Express card
  • A prepaid card
  • A card from a certain jurisdiction, eg the US

When adding a card, make sure the name and address on it match the details on your trading account as we can’t accept funds from a third party.

You can only link up to five credit/debit cards to your profile at a time. You might need to verify your card(s) before being able to remove them if you want to link other cards.

Corporate accounts

If you’re a corporate account holder, please fund your trading account by bank transfer as we can’t accept business or corporate cards. You can find our bank details here, and scroll to the bottom of to learn how to do this.
