Mac users:

The MT4 download link is not available on My IG. Click here to download the Mac installation file.

Alternatively, Mac users can access the Web Terminal, detailed below.

Using the MT4 Web Terminal

The Web Terminal offers a browser-based alternative to the MT4 desktop platform. It’s a useful option for clients who need to access their accounts without installing any software. However, there are a few limitations: the Web Terminal has fewer features than the desktop platform. For example, it doesn't support automated trading or EAs, and you can only view one chart at a time.

It does allow users to check live prices, monitor open positions, and place manual trades. But if you need to run EAs or use advanced charting tools, you’ll need to switch to the desktop version.

The Web Terminal should be accessible from any device with a browser.
