With the upcoming Lunar New Year, there will be some changes to certain markets between 28th January 2025 and 5th of February 2025. 

All the timing stated below are listed in GMT

Tuesday 28th January

  • China A50, Taiwan Index, and Singapore Blue Chip will remain open.
  • Hong Kong HS50, Hong Kong Tech, and China H-Shares will close early at 4am GMT and be priced out-of-hours.
  • Hong Kong shares and Singapore shares will close early at 4am GMT.
  • Iron ore will be closed.

Wednesday 29th January

  • China A50, Taiwan Index, and Singapore Blue Chip will remain open.
  • Hong Kong HS50, Hong Kong Tech, and China H-Shares will remain closed and be priced out-of-hours.
  • Hong Kong shares and Singapore shares will remain closed.
  • Iron ore will remain closed.

Thursday 30th January

  • China A50, Taiwan Index, and Singapore Blue Chip will remain open.
  • Hong Kong HS50, Hong Kong Tech, and China H-Shares will remain closed and be priced out-of-hours.
  • Hong Kong shares and Singapore shares will remain closed.
  • Iron ore will remain closed.

Friday 31st January

  • China A50, Taiwan Index, and Singapore Blue Chip will remain open.
  • Hong Kong HS50, Hong Kong Tech, and China H-Shares will remain closed and be priced out-of-hours.
  • Hong Kong shares will remain closed.
  • Singapore shares will reopen at 1am GMT.

Monday 3rd February

  • China A50, Taiwan Index, and Singapore Blue Chip will remain open.
  • Hong Kong HS50, Hong Kong Tech, and China H-Shares reopen as normal at 1:15am GMT.
  • Hong Kong and Singapore shares will be open.
  • Iron ore will be closed.

Tuesday 4th February

  • China A50, Taiwan Index, and Singapore Blue Chip will remain open.
  • Hong Kong HS50, Hong Kong Tech, and China H-Shares will remain open.
  • Hong Kong and Singapore shares will remain open.
  • Iron ore will be closed.

Wednesday 5th February

  • Iron ore reopens.
  • All markets open as normal.
  • Overnight Funding Adjustments (UK Time Conversion)
  • CNH crosses: Positions held past 10pm GMT on Thursday 23rd January will incur 9 days of overnight funding.
  • HKD crosses: Positions held past 10pm GMT on Friday 24th January will incur 6 days of overnight funding.
  • SGD crosses: Positions held past 10pm GMT on Friday 24th January will incur 3 days of overnight funding.
