How do I open a US options and futures account?
There are two US options and futures account types to choose from, a margin account or a cash account:

You can open a US options and futures trading account by following steps below:
On desktop:
- Login to My IG
- Select ‘add an account’
- Choose ‘US options and futures’
- Choose between a margin or cash account and follow the account opening process
Mobile app:
- Log in to your IG mobile trading app
- Navigate to ‘account’ in the bottom-right corner
- Select ‘manage account’
- Select ‘add an account’ and choose ‘US options and futures’
- Choose between a margin or cash account and follow the account opening process
