How do I launch the US options and futures platform?

To trade US-listed options and futures, you’ll first need an active US options and futures margin or cash account. If you don’t have one yet, you can add it through My IG on your desktop or the accounts tab on your IG mobile trading app.

To open a US options and futures account, you must already be an IG client with an active IG CFD, spread betting, or share dealing account.

Once you’ve added your US options and futures account, you can access the platform as follows:

Desktop:

Open your My IG dashboard
Click on 'open platform' below the relevant margin or cash account
You will then be directed to a new screen showing the US options and futures platform

On mobile:

The first time you try to launch the platform from your IG trading app, you will be prompted to download the designated IG US options and futures app. Once downloaded, you'll be able to launch the app through the 'account' tab as illustrated below:
