What happens to the money I deposit with IG Bank?

Your money is held in segregated bank accounts with our banking counterparties.

We have a number of segregated bank accounts at a range of credit-worthy high street banks such as Lloyds in London, BCGE or BNS in Switzerland.

Segregated funds are ensured up to an amount of 100.000 CHF for each depositor.

Money is immediately funded on your account as soon as we receive it.

Our accounts are available for all the main currencies, CHF, GBP, USD and EUR. You can deposit money in a different currency than the one you use on your IG Bank account and get better currency exchange rate than the one offered by traditional banks.
