Close one hour earlier 2025

US-EU Daylight Saving Time Transition Period (March 2025)

Friday 14, 21 and 28 March 2025	FX markets, commodities, 24-hour index markets and the dealing desk will close at 22:00 (CET)
	New York Cocoa, Sugar and Coffee, and London Sugar close one hour earlier
	Any expiring US markets will be settled an hour earlier than usual
Saturday 15, 22 and 29 March 2025	Cryptocurrencies and weekend markets will open at 09:00 (CET)
Sunday 9, 16 and 23 March 2025	FX markets reopen at 22:00 (CET)
	FX markets on the MT4 platform will open at 23:00 (CET)
	24-hour index markets will open at 23:00 (CET)
Friday 18 April 2025	European and US equity markets will be closed
	The Volatility Index (VIX) will be closed
	European and US commodities will be closed
	Rates and bonds will be closed for the day
Monday 21 April 2025	European equity markets will be closed. European 24-hour indices will be quoted out of hours
	US markets will re-open
	New York Sugar, Coffee and Cocoa open late at 13:30 CEST
Tuesday 22 April 2025	European markets will re-open

Memorial Day (US) / Spring Bank Holiday (UK)

Monday 26 May 2025	US Markets	US equity markets are closed.
		US index futures close early at 19:00 (CEST). We’ll offer out-of-hours pricing from 19:00 (CEST) until futures reopens at 00:00 (CEST).
		US interest rates will close early at 19:00 (CEST).
		US soft commodities are closed. US metals and energies will close early at 20:30 (CEST).
		The Volatility Index (VIX) closes early at 17:30 (CEST) and reopens at 00:00 (CEST).
	UK Markets	UK equity markets and index futures will be closed. We will offer out-of-hours pricing on the FTSE 100.
		UK commodities are closed, apart from Brent Crude, Heating Oil and London Gas Oil futures which close early at 19:30 (CEST).
		UK interest rates and bonds will be closed.

Juneteenth

Thursday 19 June 2025	Brent Crude and Gas Oil futures close early at 19:30 (CEST).
	US index futures close early at 19:00 (CEST) . We’ll offer out-of-hours pricing from 19:00 (CEST) until futures reopens at 00:00 (CEST).
	US equities and soft commodities will be closed.
	US interest rates will close early at 19:00 (CEST).
	US Energies and Metals close early at 20:30 (CEST).
	The VIX will closes early at 17:30 (CEST).

Independence Day

Thursday 3 July	US equities close early at 19:00 (CEST). All Sessions shares will be available to trade until 23:00 (CEST).
	US index futures close early at 19:15 (CEST). We’ll offer out-of-hours pricing from 19:00 (CEST) until futures reopens at 00:00 (CEST).
	VIX futures close early at 19:15 (CEST) and reopen at 00:00 (CEST).
Friday 4 July	US equities and soft commodities are closed
	US index futures close early at 19:00 (CEST). We’ll offer out-of-hours pricing from 19:00 (CEST) until futures reopens at 00:00 (CEST).
	Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and UK Nat Gas will close early at 19:30 (CEST).
	US interest rates will close early at 19:00 (CEST).
	US metals and energies will close early at 20:30 (CEST).
	London Sugar closes early at 18:00 (CEST).
	VIX futures closes early at 17:30 (CEST) and reopen at 00:00 (CEST).
Monday 7 July	Cotton opens late at 14:00 (CEST).
Monday 7 July	Grains open at 14:30 (CEST).

UK Summer Bank Holiday

Monday 25 August 2025	UK equities, index futures, soft commodities and interest rates will be closed.
	We’ll be making an out-of-hours price on the FTSE 100 until futures re-open at 14:00 (CEST) on Tuesday.
	Brent Crude and London Gas Oil will be open as normal. UK Natural Gas futures will be closed.
	New York Cocoa, Coffee and Sugar contracts will open at 13:30 (CEST).

US Labor Day

Monday 1 September 2025	US index futures close early at 19:00 (CEST). We’ll offer out-of-hours pricing from 19:00 (CEST) until futures reopens at 00:00 (CEST).
	US and Canadian equities, and soft commodities will be closed.
	US interest rates will close early at 19:00 (CEST).
	US metals and energies will close early at 20:30 (CEST).
	Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and ICE WTI will close early at 19:30 (CEST).
	London Sugar will close early at 18:00 (CEST).
	The VIX will close early at 17:30 (CEST).

Thanksgiving

Thursday 27 November 2025	US equity markets are closed.
	US index futures close early at 19:00 (CET). We’ll offer out-of-hours prices on Wall Street, US 500, US Tech 100 and US Russell 2000 until index futures reopen at 00:00 (CET).
	The Volatility Index (VIX) closes early at 17:30 (CET) and reopens at 00:00 (CET).
	Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and UK Nat Gas will close early at 19:30 (CET).
	US rates close at 19:00 (CET).
	US metals and energies will close early at 19:30 (CET).
	US soft commodities are closed.
	London Sugar closes early at 18:00 (CET).
	Lumber and Livestock are closed.

Black Friday

Friday 28 November 2025	US equity markets close early at 19:00 (CET), and there’ll be no post-market trading.
	US index futures close early at 19:15 (CET). We’ll offer out-of- hours prices on Wall Street, US 500, US Tech 100 and US Russell 2000 until 22:00 (CET).
	The Volatility Index (VIX) closes early at 19:15 (CET).
	Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and UK Nat Gas will close at 20:00 (CET).
	US rates and the US Dollar Index close at 19:15 (CET).
	US metals and energies will close early at 19:45 (CET).
	New York Cotton opens late at 14:00 (CET). New York Cotton and Orange Juice close early at 19:30 (CET).
	Normal trading hours on New York Sugar, New York Coffee and New York Cocoa.
	US grain futures open late at 15:30 (CET) and close early at 719:05 (CET).
	Lumber trades from 16:00 (CET) to 19:05 (CET), and Livestock trades from 15:30 (CET) to 19:05 (CET).
	The futures desk and all 24-hour indices close at 22:00 (CET), and FX closes at 23:00 (CET).

Friday 26 December 2025	UK markets are closed (with the exception of Brent Crude, ICE WTI, Heating Oil and London Gas Oil which will follow regular hours) Hong Kong and Australian markets are closed European indices are closed and will be quoted out-of-hours NY Coffee, NY Cocoa, NY Sugar and Cotton open late at 13:30 (CET). Grains and livestock reopen at 15:30 (CET).
Wednesday 31 December 2025	UK equities close early at 13:30 (CET) Gilts and 3M-SONIA stops trading at 13:15 (CET) The FTSE 100 Index will be quoted out-of-hours from 13:50 (CET) Brent Crude, ICE WTI, London Gas Oil close at 21:00 (CET) UK and EU natural gas stop trading at 18:00 (CET). London Cocoa closes at 17:55 (CET), Robusta Coffee at 18:30 (CET), and London Sugar at 19:00 (CET).
Thursday 1 January 2026	All markets are closed. FX markets reopen at 22:00 (CET). Out-of-hours markets, US rates, US metals, US energies and the VIX reopen at 00:00 (CET).
Friday 2 January 2026	Japanese markets are closed Grains open at 15:30 (CET) Normal trading hours resume in other markets
