How do I open an ISA in-app?

To open an ISA in-app, you must first have opened a GIA.

Having done so, simply open your app to the ‘Home’ screen. At the top of the screen, underneath your name you’ll see a tile displaying your GIA balance. Next to that will appear a second tile, offering you the option to ‘Open an ISA’. Clicking on this will give you a summary of the benefits of opening an ISA and the option to ‘Open account’ at the bottom of the screen.

You’ll be asked to provide your national insurance number (NINO) and to confirm your tax residency. If you’re a dual tax resident anywhere in addition to the UK, you’ll need to provide the country and tax identification number (TIN) information to proceed. Following acceptance of some terms, your ISA will be opened immediately.
