What is Explore?

Explore is a new and exciting in-app news and analysis feature. You can use this section of the app to access all the content that we have available – from our extensive Reuters news to our market-leading, in-house content like IGTV. The update also enables you to customise the content or view to suit your preferences.

This release is just the beginning of a range of updates that we have planned for our in-app news and analysis. Watch this space!

Who is it for and what's the benefit?

Explore is available on iOS and Android. All clients will benefit but we expect new and beginner clients to get the most from it.

Explore is aimed at helping our clients find trading ideas and our full range of content, including IGTV, within our app. It'll also help you overcome any information overload by letting you filter out unimportant content.

How can I access it?

Access Explore from the ‘account’ tab on the bottom right of the app. Click on the tab and you’ll see it in the menu options.

How do I pin Explore to the access tab in the app?

You can pin Explore to the bottom tab in the app to give you easy access.

1. Click on the ‘account’ tab
2. Click on the ‘edit’ button in the top left of the screen
3. Drag the ‘explore’ tab to the bottom navigation bar to replace one of the existing tabs
4. Click ‘done’

How can I use Explore to find the news I care about?

Explore has two features to make it easy to find the news you care about.

1. Filters – you can use a range of filters to discover news stories in the ‘Explore’ feed, based on what you’re interested in. You can access stories from your preferred asset classes or markets, or read about events impacting major markets, with a single tap.
2. ‘For you’ feed – we’ll provide a stream of personalised Reuters news stories based on what you’ve traded in the past, giving you a tailored feed, designed to help you stay on top of the markets you like to follow
