Spread betting on cable means you make a prediction on the direction in which GBP/USD’s price is heading. You’ll bet an amount of money per point of movement.
Trading CFDs on weekend cable
Trading CFDs involves agreeing to exchange the difference in the price of a GBP/USD position from the point at which it is opened up until it is closed.
How does our weekend GBP/USD market work?
Our weekend price for GBP/USD is quoted separately to its weekday counterpart. We base the price of our GBP/USD market on underlying market conditions such as volatility, as well as client activity and news flow.
Keep your weekend cable position open after Sunday close, and it’ll roll over into a regular weekday position – with any attached stops or limits remaining in place. A weekday GBP/USD position, however, will not automatically roll over into a weekend position.

What times can you trade weekend cable?
Our weekend forex trading hours run from 8am Saturday to 8.40pm Sunday (UK time). Any positions left open past 8.40pm (UK time) on a Sunday will roll over into weekday positions when those markets resume 20 minutes later at 9pm (UK time).
We are the only UK provider to offer weekend trading on the GBP/USD currency pair. This means you never need to miss an opportunity to trade, and you can hedge your weekday GBP/USD positions with a weekend trade on the same market.
