Terms of use for your IG Dealing Chrome Extension
By installing the IG Dealing Chrome Extension (“Extension“) and using it to display IG's prices for CFDs (“Prices”), submit offers to trade on Prices (“Offers”) and link you through to IG's trading platforms, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the Customer Agreement and the following terms of use (“Terms”):
- These Terms can be amended at any time, without prior notice and you agree to continue to be bound by these Terms as modified. Further, IG may change or remove the Extension in its sole discretion. Your continued use of the Extension will be deemed acceptance of the amended Terms and any changes (including updates to new versions) to the Extension.
- The Extension is to be used by you for personal use only and not for any commercial use.
- You are legally responsible for all Offers made by you through the Extension.
- You must ensure that your use of the Extension and the display of Prices are not in breach of any third party website terms and conditions and if necessary, you will disable the Extension in your browser settings.
- You must not copy, publish, redistribute, disseminate to any third party, or edit the Prices in any way, or combine the Prices with any other material.
- All copyright, database rights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in the Extension and Prices belong to IG. You must not use any means to access, monitor, copy, distribute, unzip, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise disassemble or modify any part of the Extension.
- The Extension and the Prices are provided “as is” and on an “as available basis”. To the extent permitted by law, IG excludes all representations and warranties (whether express or implied by law), including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy. IG does not guarantee the timeliness, completeness or performance of the Extension.
- You should not regard any information displayed on the Extension as being the provision of investment advice provided by IG.
- The Extension will collect data relating to your use of the Extension, including any offers you make via the Extension and information relating to third party websites you access which are supported by the Extension. The data collected will be used to extract usage statistics to enable us to enhance your customer service experience.
