Gold price, WTI crude price and natural gas price move higher
Commodity prices have continued their recovery, and look poised for further gains.
Gold looks for further gains
After Thursday’s gains, the spot gold price finds itself well-placed to push higher, and it may now test the $2450.00 and $2485.00 highs seen recently. Gains above here take the price to new record highs.
WTI claws back lost ground
The WTI price continues to recoup recent losses, and further gains target the 200-day simple moving average (SMA) at $77.76.
A close back below $74.00 would be needed to suggest that a new leg lower has begun.
Natural gas pushes higher
Having cleared trendline resistance from the July high, the natural gas price has continued to make gains.
Short-term targets are the late-July high at 2300 and then the 2450 high from mid-July.
