WeShop outlook: WeCap ‘standing by’ for its investment to pay off
WeCap PLC management say that its investment in WeShop is expected to pay dividends. With a market capitalisation of just £5mln, the Aquis listed stock has already raised money valuing WeShop the business at more than £20mln.
WeShop, described by the company as the ‘ultimate shopping platform’ and ‘the world’s first shoppable social network’ is using a unique approach whereby users are rewarded in shares in the business. John Taylor, executive director at WeCap and John Garner, director at WeShop, explain the strategy enabling a mechanism whereby those shares eventually become tradeable.
