Aaran started at IG in October 2018, having worked as a financial journalist and market reporter for Euromoney and Acuris. He started his financial career as a broker at Clarksons Platou Futures desk specialising in Forward Freight Agreements (FFAs), having studied Politics and International Relations at the University of East Anglia. Aaran entered journalism after completing the NCTJ Diploma in Journalism from Lambeth College.
His combination of experience in derivatives and reporting, particularly in the area of mergers and acquisitions, allows him to draft compelling and engaging financial news.
