Interview: Upbeat London mining conference
Describing the 121 London Mining Investor Conference as an upbeat get together, John Meyer from SP Angel says he witnessed ‘enthusiasm’ at the event for the first time in several years.
With demand returning, especially for battery metals, the conference was full of talk about ‘drill-ready’ and ‘near-production’ projects in particular.
Meyer was a little less enthusiastic about exploration, but with confidence from specialist lenders he was hopeful that this area would also spring to life as we move further into 2023.
