How do I get an IG Invest account?
First, download the IG Invest app. You can find it on the Apple App store and Google Play store. Setting up your profile and signing in just takes a few minutes. Then, open your investment account directly in the app.
Are there any costs and fees?
You’ll pay no commission* on US, European or Australian stocks and only £3 on UK stocks. There’s a monthly custody fee of £8, billed as £24 quarterly, but we’re waiving the fee for new clients until 31 May 2025. For more details of costs and fees, see the table on this page.

What kind of ISA can I get?
You can get a stocks and shares ISA with us, which offers a tax-free1 allowance of £20,000 for the 2024/2025 tax year. Note: you’ll need to open a General Investment Account first.
