The more the referrals, the more the rewards
Invite as many friends as you’d like, and – for a limited time only – we’ll give you up to £250 in total for the first five who sign up.1
Already got rewarded? No problem; you can still earn more as long as you haven’t reached the maximum of five referrals.
This means that even if you’ve already received three rewards for example, you can still qualify for two more bonuses under this promotion.1

Get familiar with the requirements
Remember, your friend(s) will first need to apply for an account with us through your unique referral link.
Once their application has been approved, they’ll have to take a few actions before you can receive your reward.
Here’s what they’ll need to do:

How can I start making referrals?
Log in to My IG via mobile or desktop and click on the refer-a-friend banner (or go to the ‘settings’ section and select ‘refer a friend’ from the menu)
Copy your unique referral link and send it to your friends, or share it directly from My IG via email
Receive a reward each time a referred friend opens an account from your link and fulfils the requirements1

Can I participate in the promotion if I’ve already been rewarded?
Yes, you can continue to refer new friends under this promotion. However, any successful referrals you made in previous schemes will carry over into this one. For instance, if you’ve received a reward for two referrals, you’ll only be eligible for three more.1
Can I refer someone I live with?
No, your referrals must live in a different address to yours.
How do I check my referral status?
Once your friend has signed up for an account, you’ll receive an email telling you that you’re in the referral scheme.
After this, you can log in to My IG and go to the ‘settings’ section to check the status of your referral. On the desktop platform, you’ll find this at the top of your screen. If you’re using the mobile app, click on ‘account’ at the bottom right-hand side of your screen and scroll down to find your settings.
From there, select ‘refer a friend’ to view your referral status. You’ll also get an email once your friend has successfully opened a live account using your link, as well as when you’ve qualified for a reward.
Will the referral expire?
Yes. Once your friend opens an account, they’ll have three months to place their first trade before you can get your reward.
