What does IG require from our affiliates?
We’re proud to partner with individuals and companies who share our values and want to help us power the pursuit of financial freedom for the ambitious. If you meet the following criteria, we would be happy to discuss the potential for a mutually beneficial partnership.
Your web presence must be primarily finance, investment or trading focussed; or include significant information about these topics in a dedicated section
Your web presence must only provide balanced and impartial information, following the guidelines of any relevant regulator
You must be able to provide the proof of identity documents, or proof of company incorporation if applicable, we require to verify your information and application
Your website must not target any of IG’s banned countries, detailed in the Impact contract when you sign up
You must be an individual over 18 year of age, or the age of legal majority, or the authorised representative for a registered company

How does IG review affiliates?
To find a good fit with our brand, we review our affiliates in various ways, such as:
Checking your website or content platform
We look at your topic, content quality, traffic, engagement, design, and SEO. We also check if you follow the best practices for affiliate marketing, such as telling your audience that you are an affiliate, providing value to your audience, and avoiding spammy or misleading marketing tactics.
Checking your social media presence
We look at your social media profiles, followers, posts, and interactions. We also check if you have a good reputation and influence in your topic and if you engage with your audience in a positive and professional way.
Checking your compliance with laws and regulations
We look at your contents existing adherence to financial regulators rules and regulations. We also check if you comply with the relevant laws and regulations, such as privacy policies, data protection laws, and FTC guidelines.
We review our affiliates periodically and randomly to ensure continued compliance with policies. We use various tools and methods to monitor and evaluate our affiliates, such as tracking software, analytics tools, surveys, audits, or manual checks.

A Step-by-step guide to signing up to IG’s affiliate programme
You can apply to IG’s affiliate programme by clicking the “sign up” link at the top of this page, or any of the links in the content. You’ll be taken to our application form on impact.com.
The application form should guide you through the process of signing up, but we’ll also detail the steps here.
The first step will be to review the IG Contract, this will detail how much you get paid for each action, when your account will be able to withdraw funds, and how long our cookie/referral window is. It also contains our Marketing Partnership Agreement which you should review. Once you are happy, you can click Accept.
If you want to make changes to a contract then we would suggest you start by following the sign up process, and then contact one of our team once your account has been setup. We won’t be able to make a bespoke contract unless you have already got an account in Impact.
Once you’ve reviewed the contract, you can select your preferred language in the upper-right corner. Then choose to either sign up with your email or with a social account such as Apple SSO, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Google.
The application will then capture some information about how you can promote IG, including your website, social accounts, any mobile apps, podcasts, emails or offline methods. Unfortunately IG may not be able to approve all of these for use, but it’s important you let us know what you will be using.
You will then complete some account information, such as your country, mailing address and currency. It’s important when you select currency that you choose a currency which is accepted by your bank.
You’ll then be emailed to verify your account and complete some tax information. Once this is complete, you can submit your application and it will be reviewed by one of the IG team.
When you’re accepted; you’re officially an affiliate on the IG programme and you can start promoting IG.
