Tesla stock down after slashing prices on cars in China
Tesla slashed the prices of its premium Model S and X cars in China, hours after unveiling a refreshed version of its Model 3 mass-market family saloon. IGTV’s Angela Barnes looks at the company’s share price in this round-up.

Keeping close tabs on Tesla's share price
Tesla has slashed the prices of its premium Model S and X cars in China, just hours after unveiling a refreshed version of its Model 3 mass-market family saloon. The US automaker marked down the price of its basic Model S by 14% to 698,900 yuan. That's about US$96,200.
And it slashed the price of its entry level Model X sport utility vehicle, well, by 18% to 738,000 yuan or US$101,600, according to its official website.
Tesla stock has climbed 120% since January
Let's have a look at the Tesla price chart now because it's an all-session stock on the IG platform. And you can see it's trading down about 0.65%. It's an also you can see how its stock has climbed though since the start of the year, roughly 120%. And that's after the sell off scene there since the end of September 2022.
