Each Monday one IG analyst picks a trade idea for the week ahead, which includes fundamental and technical analysis, as well as where to place a stop.
Senior analyst Josh Mahony looks back at the trades in 2019. The portfolio started the year with £10,000. Each week, 2% of the portfolio is put on the trade, with a specific stop loss in place. The trade then runs until profits are taken at a set level, or the stop is hit.
